i have explored Ilmenau quite a bit. it is a little town in the mountains with winding streets and people who stare at us like we are animals. kinda funny. it is really beautiful here tho. the clouds fly low and make pictures in the bright blue sky. it is always cool here and most days i start off with a sweater. they also have some crazy wind whipping through this town...it howls day and night. this place is just wonderful to wake up to everyday....aside from the early 3 hour class one has to deal with before you can go out and play. i learn a lot though so i cant complain. i will post pictures when i can in order to explain it all. my favorite place so far here has to be the mine we went into. that whole area was breath taking and the free dinner was really fancy stuff. i have had a lot of fun here and i hope to have more before i leave.
